My first foray into the world of psychology started when I was seeking help for myself. It was an eye opening experience and introduced me to a very different world, where I learned about the intricacies of the human mind and nature, and the webs that interconnect them all together.
Given such perspective, it was no surprise that I decided to pursue a degree in Psychology. I obtained my first class honours at Taylor’s University, where I was given the opportunity to gain knowledge and skills that I can instill in my life. Throughout my studies, I learned to become more understanding of people’s thoughts and actions, embrace the differences, challenge and keep a positive mindset towards growth, and understand how essential mental health is in our daily lives.
As the office manager/clinical assistant of KIN & KiDS, I work closely with all the other staff including the Director and the therapists. My role is to make sure that you will feel secure and comfortable throughout your experience at KIN & KiDS. I may be the first person to attend to you and through our first conversation, I aim to match you up with the most suitable therapist from our team as well as to give you the necessary information to make an appropriate decision.
I understand how difficult it is to seek for help. With that said, my goal is to ease your steps towards it and to ensure that your experience here is as comfortable and pleasant as possible. Please do not hesitate to contact me regarding your concerns and I will endeavor to attend to them.
I speak fluent English and Malay.
