Crystal Lim

Clinical Assistant/ Office Manager

My first venture into psychology started during my first year in university where I was interested to study the intricacy and complexities of the human mind. I learned to embrace differences, challenge myself towards growth, and understand the importance of mental health. I am also a strong advocate of having a positive mindset and fighting against the stigma of mental health, which is something that I try to instill in my daily life.

I completed my Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) at Taylor’s University with a first class honors degree, where I was one of their first few pioneering batches of the program. My fascination with Clinical Psychology begins there and I am looking forward to further my studies in the near future.

To pursue a wholesome understanding of the above subject, I joined KIN & KiDS to gain exposure on the practical aspects of psychology, specifically on the wide range of psychological assessments. The professional standards set by our family of counselors and psychologists have taught me to prioritize the clients and counselors’ best interest, and to further their objectives.

As the office manager/clinical assistant of KIN & KiDS, I work closely with the Director as well as our other therapists, to ensure that our clients feel secure and comfortable during their experience in KIN & KiDS. I may be the first person to tend to you when you first contact us. I aim to match you up with the most suitable therapist from our team, and to give you the necessary information to make an appropriate decision. I will ensure that your experience here is as comfortable and pleasant as possible. Please do not hesitate to contact me regarding your concerns and I will make best endeavor to attend to them.

I speak English, Chinese, and basic Malay.
